Creative Scribble

I need your prayers. This is a busy week but exciting at the same time. Here's all that God's got going on. This week, and even next week, will be huge!

• Met with another church planter this morning. Exciting to see how God works in different ways in our city.
• Talked this afternoon with a church in Northern Virginia that is interested in partnering financially. They will be discussing it more over the next couple of weeks and get back to me. Pray hard about this!
• Driving to South Carolina on Wednesday to meet with another church that is interested in partnering.
• Huge meeting on Thursday with a "church advisory team" to get their approval for seeking funding from the "state level" of their missions board. The state board meets April 6 to consider our proposal. It got submitted last week.
• Have I mentioned we need to raise $70k?! I believe the dominoes will start to fall soon...in a good way!
• Two more church planting groups will get our proposal in the next two weeks. Asking them for support is like the automakers asking Uncle Sam for money. Everybody's doing it and it eventually runs out.
• Got a lead on a potential young, up-and-coming worship leader. Praying a lot about that.
• Learning to do a lot more praying and a lot less busy work.
• Starting to see the launch team develop. We're having an interest meeting April 7 for people wanting to find out more. This could be big for some people.

So basically, we're doing a lot of praying and waiting. If you want to get involved in any way, let us know. Most of all, do some big time praying with and for us!
