Creative Scribble

The first launch team interest meeting was almost two weeks ago and we are starting to see it take shape. This weekend I got an email with our first official "signees" and my favorite part was the first name - a five-year old. The back story on this family is amazing, seeing how far God has brought him and his mom already. I can only imagine what God is going to do over the next few years with them and OneLife Church! I'm going to frame this and put it in my office for sure.

Then this morning I got a call from a couple letting me know they are ready to roll their sleeves up and come on board. The good news? It's our first family over 40 years old (trying to be politically correct so other "codgers" will come too!). Seriously, I've been praying for a launch team made up of youthful energy and godly wisdom. It takes a great mixture of both. So this was a very encouraging phone call.

I continue to pray that God sends who He wants to be a part of this group to get us started. We are halfway home to our goal of 12-15 families. Can't wait to see who else He sends.
